These are the most beautiful beaches in and around Petrovac:
Petrovac Beach
Petrovac Beach is the beach located in the bay of Petrovac. The great thing about this beach is that it is within walking distance of most hotels and right on the promenade. You can easily interrupt your beach day for lunch or drinks by the water. Just keep in mind that this is one of the busier beaches, especially in July and August. In addition, many boat trips depart from the bay, which can sometimes disturb the peace and quiet.
Lučiće Beach
Just a 15-minute walk from the center is Lučiće Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. This small bay is surrounded by pine trees and rocks, giving it an idyllic appearance. You can rent beach beds here and there are some cozy restaurants and bars for a snack or lunch. It can fill up quickly here in the summer months, so come early in the day or just in the late afternoon to avoid the crowds.
Perazica Do Beach
A little further south of Petrovac is Perazića Do Beach, a wide pebble beach surrounded by impressive cliffs and green pine trees. Again, you can rent beach beds for the day, but there is also plenty of room to lay down your towel anywhere. From Petrovac it is about a 40-minute walk to this beach or 10 minutes by car.
2) Kastel Lastva (Fortress Castello)
At the end of the promenade in Petrovac you will find Kastel Lastva. This small Venetian fortress, also known as Fortress Castello, is located on a rock from where you have a fantastic view of Petrovac’s harbor and coastline. Especially during sunset, this is a beautiful place to visit, from where you can watch the sun sink into the sea. Admission to this small fortress is free.
